10 Aug Top Five Whites
As promised, the key to whites! Not the 300 Off Whites in the Benjamin Moore collection but the crisp clean timeless whites.
My personal favourite Chantilly Lace is up first. This white has the teensiest drop of gray but other than that, the brightest in my books.
In no ranking order, next is Ice Mist. This one is slightly cooler if you’re after that stark paper look.
Distant Gray is the colour for you if you want it to look white with a touch of gray. It will still look white on your walls.
Brilliant White is not necessarily warmer to me because there is blue in it but it has a bit more depth to it.
Finally… White. This is the lovely colour that comes premixed in ceiling paint, trim but most importantly Advance interior paint. It acts like oil the way it levels out smooth but cleans up with water. If you’re redoing an old dresser or cabinets- this is the one!
When it comes down to it, these are my favourite whites because they are crisp and fresh. They won’t look creamy or yellow. Any you choose from this list is sure to give you the clean look. Once they’re on your wall, it’s hard to tell the difference. Head to your local Benjamin Moore store and have a look. Once you compare, you may see the different hues in each colour.
Happy painting!
